The Alen T300 is a good value user-friendly air purifier with style and function. It has an attractive, space saving tower design that is great for rooms where extra floor space is hard to come by. The T300 features two HEPA filters each with a pre filter and carbon post filter. It also has an optional built-in ionizer and UV lamp for more filtration power. The UV lamp helps kill harmful airborne viruses and bacteria - an especially nice feature during cold and flu season. This air purifier is great for removing allergens, bacteria and viruses from a small to medium sized room up to 300 sq. ft. UV Sterilization Technology: the UV germicidal bulb kills harmful bacteria and viruses. The UV lamp can be turn on or off as you wish using the UV button on the control panel. The UV indicator will illuminate when it is on.
Built-in Ionizer: releases negative ions into the air to effectively minimize pollutants. Ionizer can be manually turned on or off as desired and does not produce ozone. The ionizer indicator on the display panel will light up to show it is on.
Speeds: 4 fan speed settings with indicator; Low speed is whisper quiet and good for sleeping or quiet work environments, speed 2 and 3 are tolerable and speed 4 is noisy and best used for quick cleaning when no one is in the room.
