Pluses:
- Excellent Sealed filtration system: This vacuum includes a micro-hygiene pre-filter and a HEPA filter that we tested to remove all particulates down to .3 microns.
- Powerful vacuum cleaner: Inside most great vacuums there is a powerful engine - The Electro Duo Plus HEPA Vacuum Cleaner has a 1400 watt motor that has enough suction to remove dirt from low to high pile carpeting.
- First-rate power head: We tested this on low to high pile carpeting and were delighted with its suction capabilities. We also found that the turbohead works well on hard floor surfaces if you turn the brush roll off.
- Large vacuum cleaner bags: These bags last much longer than most of this vacuums competitors because of the 1 gallon size.
- Easy to install filters: Simply pull the old one out and pop the new one into place.
- Easy cord rewind: Works just like a shade, give the cord a quick tug and it will rewind itself.
- Carrying handle: Large carrying handle makes it easy to carry the vacuum up or down stairs and to put it away.
- 360 degree swivel wheels: Offering excellent maneuverability, the wheels are made out of rubber to protect your floors too!
- Quick turn vacuum handle: Conveniently control the power head or floor brush by moving your wrist.
- 2 Park aids: Allow you two options to attach the turbohead and wand to the canister for easy storage.
- Onboard tools and enclosed compartment: This vacuum comes complete with standard crevice, upholstery and dusting brushes that neatly fit into a hidden compartment that no one has to see.
- TURBO-UNIVERSAL brush roller: An optional accessory sold separately on most vacuums, we were pleased to find that the mini-turbo head is included in Bosch’s standard package. This is great for vacuuming stairs, upholstery and pet hair
- Low maintenance: Thanks to a large 1 gallon bag and a HEPA filter that only needs to be replaced once a year this vacuum is easy and affordable to maintain.
Minuses:
- Not a huge minus, but we tend to prefer vacuum cleaners that have fingertip on/off controls, which this vacuum does not have.
- Although the canister has 2 park positions available, it is important to note that the power head will not stand upright alone.
- We found the fully extended 34" telescopic wand to be a little bit shorter than we prefer.
- While we love the selection of tools that come with this vacuum, we wish they were made with horse hair because it is more durable.
