How it Works — the Neoterik CF60 Care-Flo Air Purifying Respirator
This comfortable respirator utilizes a lightweight battery powered blower to pull air through a 99.99% effective HEPA filter to deliver clean air to a protective comfortable hood (either flip top or whole head style). This portable respirator comes with a hood, breathing tube, blower, HEPA filtration system, belt and battery pack. The battery powers the blower, which pumps contaminated air through the filter into the hood. The wearer receives a flow of filtered air providing comfortable, effective and easy to use respiratory protection.
Note: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that mail handlers now use masks in areas that have potential exposure to anthrax. The minimum rating is a N95 rated mask that screens out 95% of particles down to about 0.3 microns in size. The Neoterik CF60 Care-Flo portable respirator exceeds these standards and is a more effective protector at 99.99% efficiency for particles down to 0.3 microns in size.
