These non innerspring crib mattresses are composed of natural latex that his harvested from rubber trees and then covered in organically grown cotton batting. The batting is then wrapped in domestic Pure Grown Wool that is naturally flame resistant and won’t off gas and affect a baby’s fragile respiratory system. Natural latex is also mold, mildew and dust mite resistant. Besides creating a natural and chemical free environment for your baby, the latex crib mattress and its flexible nature make it easy to clean and change crib sheets.

Features of Natural Latex Baby Crib Mattresses

These baby crib mattress is composed natural latex (harvested from rubber trees) that is covered in organically grown cotton batting from Texas then wrapped in domestic Pure Grow wool™. This wool is grown using organic agricultural practices such as no pesticides on the pasture and no chemicals in the animal feed. These layers are tufted or quilted to natural (untreated and undyed) cotton or with organic cotton fabric ticking. The organic cotton used inside the mattress contains no pesticides, defoliants, mineral oils or flame retardant chemicals. The Pure Grow wool used inside the mattress is a natural flame retardant, as well as, dust mite and mold resistant.

The quilting of the inner fibers to the natural ticking fabric is done by machine.
- Two types of mattress covering are available:
- Natural Cotton
This natural colored U.S. cotton is grown commercially in the US Once the cotton is cut off the plant, it is gently cleaned with a biodegradable cleaner and no further chemicals are applied to it. It is undyed and untreated.
- Organic Cotton
This natural mattress is covered in domestically grown organic cotton which has a light brown color.
