This quilted mattress pad is filled with domestic Pure Grow ™ wool, which is then machine quilted to a natural cotton cover that is untreated and undyed. A 100% cotton covered pad is cooler and more absorbent than a polyester/cotton blend. Wool's wicks moisture vapor away from the body and releases it into the environment faster than any other material. This helps maintain the cleanliness and freshness of your mattress pad. Cotton elastic straps are sewn at the corners that allow you to anchor the pad under the mattress. This crib mattress pad is 1.5" thick and is naturally dust mite resistant.

How to use quilted wool filled crib mattress pads: Simply place the wool mattress pad over the crib mattress and under a puddle pad if you have one. Then make the crib mattress as usual by putting on the a fitted sheet or crib dust mite encasing over the top.

Care instructions for wool filled mattress pads:
Spot clean. Sun or line dry. Do not put them in the dryer. To freshen up your wool filled pad, just expose it to the sun. On a nice sunny day lay out your bedding and the sun will naturally purify the wool.
