How it Works — Comfort Cool 7,500 BTU Manual Portable Air Conditioners
During the process of cooling, some water will be extracted from the air into the unit. Most of the water is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. If the unit is operated in very humid air, water will collect in the container inside the unit. If the water container is full, the compressor will stop, but the fan will continue to circulate the air. You can make the cooling function working again by either draining into a container or by water tube (continuous drainage).
