applications and detail cleaning, the DE 4002 steam cleaner adds the power
of steam to your cleaning and maintenance arsenal. The DE 4002 is a lightweight, portable vapor steam cleaner for chemical free steam cleaning. Best for light commercial or residential tasks rather than heavy grease applications. Power cord and accessories are stored "on board" conveniently within the base of the unit. A handle on the steam cleaner base and transport wheels make this unit easy to move from room to room. A large steam tank and refillable reserve tank are housed within the DE 4002. This two-tank system permits continuous operation by permitting the addition of water during use (funnel included), known as "continuous refill". This helps tackle lengthy tasks without waiting 20 minutes or more to repressurize the steam cleaner for refills. |

Caution:
- DO NOT USE WATER THAT GOES THROUGH A HOME "SOFTENING" SYSTEM IN A
VAPOR STEAM CLEANER!! (It contains minerals that may be harmful to the steam generator).
Regular tap water, well water, spring water, and distilled water can be
used, but not "softened" water.

The steam cleaner was easy to use and heated
up in 12 minutes. It is lightweight, and we found that the tool attachments
were easy to use. We were also impressed with the very dry steam produced
by the DE 4002.
Pluses:

- 2-Year Boiler Warranty: These steam cleaners have a 2-year
warranty on the aluminum boiler
- Unique calcification light indicator: calcification indicator
lights up when the main boiler tank has calcium deposits inside - this
notifies the operator that they should de-scale the tank with enclosed
de-scaling powder
- Safe to Use: DE 4002s offer safe steam cleaning, thanks to
safety features such as calcification monitoring, steam pressure auto
shut-off, and safety cap with pressure release valve

- This machine's Internal boiler steam temperature of 240°F is not
as hot as other steam cleaner boiler temps in models we carry that reach
up to 298°F, such as the Ladybug
XL vapor steam cleaner
- Not effective in heavy grease removal applications
- The regulator knob for the steam is on the machine and not on the
handle.
- We would have liked to have seen more accessories come with the unit
including a triangular brush, window cleaning kit, a medium size round
brush, and more wiping cloths (only one cloth is included)
Summary:
This steam cleaner is an entry level commercial grade machine best for resdiential, office
or light janitorial tasks. We do not recommend it for heavier grease or
industrial applications. When it comes to sanitizing of restrooms, cleaning
medical equipment, or stain removal, the DE 4002 is a real steam pleaser.
Cost savings will be noticeable from not having to buy so many chemicals.
