The Ultracarb filter is surrounded by a durable Doulton pressure filter stainless steel housing which has been designed to minimize space conditions and prevent damage to the filtration system in the event of a water pressure spike. Each system includes all necessary parts for easy installation and an attractive chrome faucet.

- First stage: consists of Doulton Ultracarb ceramic which provides genuine sub micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity
- Second stage: the incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties
- Third stage: an inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds
- Fourth stage: Ion exchange resin reduces Lead and other heavy metals
- Ultracarb filter is surrounded by a durable Doulton pressure filter stainless steel housing. The stainless steel body is made as a single piece from polished stainless steel and the chromium plated brass head has been designed to minimize space conditions. Other benefits include less damage to the housing in the event of a water pressure spike
