Does not work well on thick carpeting.
The vacuum does not stand on its own and needs to be placed in its stand.
Although the dust bin is extremely easy to clean out, it is small and needs to be emptied frequently
Since it is battery operated its power supply has a time limit - approx 10-15 minutes
Needs 15-20 hours to fully recharge
Summary:
With a more powerful 12 volt motor, the gray Ergorapido 1012A is a step above the 9.6 volt Electrolux Pronto in cleaning ability. The orange Ergorapido 1014A is the replacement for the 9.6 volt pronto. Either Ergorapido would make a great little vacuum cleaners for a small apartment with mostly bare floors, or the perfect quick pick-up vacuum cleaner for a household. The following is the summary of my testing experience of the Ergorapido 1012A. "It was lightweight and easily carried up stairs to my 3rd floor apartment. The 180 degree swivel head made it quick and easy to maneuver through my apartment as it seamlessly glided across the hardwood floors picking up the dust and debris that lurked in the corners and under the furniture. It handled low-pile area rugs impressively maintaining suction power and mobility. When it came to the living room, being able to push a button and instantly have a handheld vacuum to clean the couches was very convenient. The charger stand requires only a small amount of space and provides a neat place to store the vacuum when not in use. The only problems I could foresee relate to large household use; the dirt cup is small and fills up fast and if used for a long time without being re-charged it will lose power reducing its efficiency." Overall I give it two thumbs up.
