However, the alcohol can actually dry and crack the skin giving germs the opportunity to get inside where they can cause more harm on the surface of the skin. Our Honeymark hand products are alcohol-free, killing germs on contact and leaving hands soft, fresh and clean. Honeymark’s hand sanitizers contain active Manuka Honey, which has effective antimicrobial properties to ensure all unwanted microorganisms are destroyed. All ingredients are natural and helps keep your body, health and mind comfortable and at ease when disinfecting germs and bacteria. How it Works — Honeymark Hand Sanitizing Gels and Soaps
Manuka Honey has an antibacterial activity primarily due to the presence of hydrogen peroxide which is formed in a slow-release manner by the enzyme glucose oxidase. Manuka Honey can be diluted and still destroy bacteria very efficiently. It also contains an additional antibacterial compound found only in honey produced from the Leptospermum plant which is known as the Unique Manuka Factor or UMF. In addition, Manuka Honey is considered to be antimicrobial which means that it can destroy any infectious microorganisms whether they are bacterial, viral or fungal.
All Honeymark products use organic, active Manuka Honey UMF 10+. The honey is indigenous to New Zealand which is then imported and blended into the cream and lotions.
Honeymark’s Liquid Hand Soap does not contain alcohol but rather active Manuka Honey as an antimicrobial agent to ensure all unwanted microorganisms are destroyed, leaving your hands completely germ free and clean. Size: 7.5 oz. bottle.
