The Mopti Collection is woven in Italy and made from incredibly silky, soft 600 thread count Egyptian sateen cotton, finished with stunning red or sable embroidery. This collection is a modern interpretation of designs inspired by Mopti, a city in Mali, known for its beautiful and colorful blankets, and used by the Fulani nomads as wedding gifts and protection against the elements. The Duvet covers feature Mopti's unique contrasting band design with button closures. The sheets are generously cut to accommodate up to 18 inch deep mattresses, and the shams and pillowcases are constructed with French flap closures for a neat fit. The flat sheets have an embroidered border in Sable or Red. The pillowcases come in three styles: Contrasting Band, Ribbons design, or Embroidered border. The addition of a solid Red or Sable quilted coverlet bedspread with a tailored border finishes this daring bedding collection.

Mopti Collection
The Mopti collection uses a striking contrast of color to evoke the essence of the African city's colorful wool and cotton blankets which offer security and protection. This results in an eye-pleasing pattern of small triangular and rectangular embroidery on soft cotton sateen, mixed and matched with 3 stylish pillowcases and beautifully finished with quilted geometric coverlets and throw pillows.
Machine Wash on gentle cycle with lukewarm water (except quilted items). Final rinse should be in cold water. Use a mild non-chlorine bleach detergent. If a commercial detergent is used, measure only half of the recommended amount unless linens are heavily soiled. Never pour undiluted detergent directly onto linens. Never use chlorine bleach, stain removers or detergents with bluing agents or lighteners. Wash light and dark colors separately. Next, remove promptly and shake before drying to reduce wrinkles. Line dry or tumble dry on low setting. Do not over dry. Remove linens from the dryer while still damp. Immediately steam iron on the reverse side.
Note: Up to 4% shrinkage is expected on high thread count Egyptian cotton linens. Products are cut to allow for normal shrinkage. High temperature washing and drying are to be avoided to prevent excessive shrinkage. Quilted items should be dry cleaned only.
