Importance of Shower Filtration:
Exposure to chlorine in the shower can cause symptoms of brittle hair, dandruff, dry skin, and red irritated eyes. Pluses:
Our tester has a small bathroom where vapors are kept in easily. As a result there were many odors and sometimes made it difficult to breathe. After using the shower filter for a few days, she noticed there was a significant reduction in these unwanted odors and made for a much healthier shower experience.
Our tester noticed a difference the way her skin felt after using for a few days. She has relatively dry skin and needs to use lotion throughout the day. After showering with the PureMist shower filter, her skin stayed smoother throughout the day reducing the amount of lotion needed.
The shower filter reduced the amount of chlorine from the water and improved the tester's hair appearance and feel.
Was very easy to install with little assembly required.
Sleek design worked well with bathroom decor
Our tester is very active and constantly has aches and pains throughout her body. The handheld and massage functions made it easy to reach and relieve those aching muscles and strains.
Minuses:
Because of the height of the shower head, you must have at least 10" between the shower head and ceiling.
The length of the filter handle and nozzle may make it difficult for somebody short in height to turn the dial.
When changing the massage setting to mist setting, there was a decrease in water pressure; would have preferred a more powerful mist stream.
