Pluses:
- Combination Nozzle: Vacuum cleaner has straight suction with a combination nozzle versatile for use on both hard floors and carpet.
- Filtration: S Class filtration system meets HEPA standards.
- Assembly: This vacuum is intuitively easy to assemble.
- Parquet Floor Brush: Super soft bristle floor brush works on even the most polished wood floors and kitchen floors (i.e. linoleum). (sold separately)
- Movement: Vacuum moved easily and effortlessly.
- Weight: Nice and light, simple maneuvering. The entire machine is not hard to lift, which is a plus for the elderly and women.
- Rubber Bumper: Ingenious idea to surround the edges of the vacuum with a rubber bumper which protects walls and furniture, as well as the machine itself.
- Full Bag Indicator Light: The orange bag light indicates a blockage or a full filter bag.
- Tools: Crevice tool, upholstery brush, corner brush tool and parquet floor brush all suit their purposes perfectly. This is the all-around vacuum that you can use for all your vacuuming needs.
Minuses:
- Dusting Brush: The dusting brush is attached to wand and if you are not careful the dusting brush will fall off while you are vacuuming.
- Filter Bags: Filter bags are small, but are average for a compact vacuum.
- Thick Pile Carpeting: There was some resistance on thicker pile carpeting, but still did a good job.
- Not a true HEPA filter.
Summary:
The SEBO K2 canister vacuum cleaner makes for a perfect basic vacuum for allergy sufferers with mostly bare floors and thin scatter rugs. We wouldn’t recommend this vacuum for people who have to deal with a lot of pet hair, especially dogs because the filter bags would fill up quickly. On-board tools make this machine quite versatile, you can use the crevice tools for hard to reach nooks and crannies, the corner brush tool for every inch and corner of your home, the upholstery brush on furniture and the parquet brush on kitchen and other hard flooring. Overall, this vacuum is affordable, efficient and has a lot to offer allergy sufferers and anyone who wants a great fundamental vacuum.
