Kumi Kookoon uses grade "A" raw mulberry silk, the finest silk, produced by silkworms that are fed only pure mulberry leaves and weaves it together to make silk charmeuse for the French Pleat Collection. This collection consists of satin-finished silk duvet covers, pillow shams and throw blankets in a variety of colors. Each bedding item is detailed with Kumi Kookoon's vintage french pleat design. The products in this collection can be used to enhance your own bedding or can be combined with other Kumi Kookoon products including the Classic Collection silk sheets and bed skirts. Silk filled pillows and comforters are also available below.

Care of Kumi Kookoon's French Pleat Collection Bedding
Dry clean only. For everyday freshness, air your silk duvet cover and pillow shams for a few minutes in indirect sunlight. The sun will naturally encourage silk to release impurities trapped inside the fiber. This bedding is sumptuous, but durable and will retain its original luster provided it is properly cared for. We recommend taking all silk bedding to a professional dry cleaner that has experience cleaning charmeuse silk products. Do not machine wash or wet clean.
