Kumi Kookoon uses grade “A” raw mulberry silk, the finest silk, produced by silkworms that are fed only pure mulberry leaves and weaves it together to make charmeuse silk for the Organza Collection. This collection consists of satin-finished silk duvet covers and pillow covers that are available in ivory, sage, raindrop and white colors. The silk organza detailing is an open weaved fabric that is sheer and thin. The products in this collection can be used to enhance your own bedding or can be combined with other Kumi Kookoon products including the Classic Collection silk sheets and bed skirts or the Dream Collection silk blankets and throws. Care of Kumi Kookoon’s Silk Duvet Cover and Pillow Shams
Dry clean only. For everyday freshness, air your silk duvet cover and pillow shams for a few minutes in indirect sunlight. The sun will naturally encourage silk to release impurities trapped inside the fiber. This bedding is sumptuous, but durable and will retain its original luster provided it is properly cared for. We recommend taking all silk bedding to a professional dry cleaner that has experience cleaning charmeuse silk products. Do not machine wash or wet clean.
