The Walata Collection, woven in Italy, is made from amazingly soft, shimmering Egyptian 600 thread count cotton sateen and has a very unusual jacquard detail. The unique design is inspired by Walata – an ancient 11th century city and magnificent oasis on the trans-Saharan caravan route. The Coffee and Azure is our favorite color combination and makes a bold fashion statement, while the Ivory and Sable is more classic in appeal. Pillowcases and top sheets are in Sable or Azure blue colors and feature a rich jacquard border with the contrasting color selected. The sheets are generously cut to accommodate up to 18 inch deep mattresses and the shams and pillowcases are constructed with French flap closures for a neat fit. The complementary jacquard duvet covers are available in Sable or Coffee with neat button closures. Coverlets and Euro size shams are also available in an attractive ribbed "Cannete" fabric.

Egyptian cotton 600 thread count sateens are combined with 500 thread count jacquards and embroidered details to create a sophisticated and luxurious look that lasts.
Walata Collection
The Walata collection strives to interpret the essence of the glorious ancient African city's architecture and rich cultural elements. This results in symbolic patterns of dark and muted tones, woven into strikingly beautiful luxury bedding.
Machine Wash on gentle cycle with lukewarm water (except quilted items). Final rinse should be in cold water. Use a mild non-chlorine bleach detergent. If a commercial detergent is used, measure only half of the recommended amount unless linens are heavily soiled. Never pour undiluted detergent directly onto linens. Never use chlorine bleach, stain removers or detergents with bluing agents or lighteners. Wash light and dark colors separately. Next, remove promptly and shake before drying to reduce wrinkles. Line dry or tumble dry on low setting. Do not over dry. Remove linens from the dryer while still damp. Immediately steam iron on the reverse side.
Note: Up to 4% shrinkage is expected on high thread count Egyptian cotton linens. Products are cut to allow for normal shrinkage. High temperature washing and drying are to be avoided to prevent excessive shrinkage. Quilted items should be dry cleaned only.
The duvet covers feature Walata's unique design (no border) in Sable with Sable jacquards or Coffee with Azure blue jacquards. Duvet covers have button closures.
